Product Options Explained

Below is a brief explanation of the various options you will be able to select when making a purchase from us. It is important to familiarise yourself with these to ensure that your print is supplied in the correct format for your needs.

Option 1) Size & Type

Please select the size of print that you would like to order – please note that the sizes quoted are approximate, and relate to the full paper size. If you choose to add borders to the print (see option 4 below) then this will reduce the actual size of the printed image that you will receive.

Alternatively you can selct to order a Photo Canvas version of the image, or choose a selection of 10 or more Greetings Cards which come with envelopes and are left blank inside for your own message to be written. Options 2,3 and 4 below do not apply to Photo Canvas or Greetings Card selections.

Option 2) Finish Type

Please select whether you would like the print to be glossy or matt finish. A glossy finish will reflect more light than a matt finish, and so may affect the viewing of the photograph from some angles, but if your intention is to frame the picture behind glass then the benefits of a matt finish will be negligible. This option is not applicable to Photo Canvas products or Greetings Cards packs.

Option 3) Print Style

No border:
Select this option if you would like the image to be printed to the full width and length of the paper (edge-to-edge) with no border. This will give you the maximum size of print for the paper size selected, but if you intend to frame the print with a mount then you will lose some of the photograph behind the mounting material.

White outline & black border:
This choice will supply the print with a white outline around the picture and a black border surrounding the image on all sides so that when framed with a mount the print can be secured behind the mount with no loss of detail.

White outline & text with black border:
This choice will create a bigger border surrounding the image so that it can be framed with a mount, but also to include the text displaying the picture title and photographer’s name as displayed on the full size version when the ‘Click to enlarge image’ button is clicked. This is only recommended for larger sizes of paper where the amount of picture space remains large enough to appreciate the detail contained within the photograph.

With bevel cut mount:
For an extra charge we will mount the photograph with a bevel cut card mount ready for framing. We will choose the colour of the mount to perfectly complement the photograph selected.

These options are also not applicable to Photo Canvas products or greetings Cards packs.

Payment methods

Payments are processed via Paypal, but you do not have to have an existing Paypal account, nor do you have to sign up to Paypal to use this facility.

If you have a Paypal account please select the Paypal payment option, and on confirmation of your order you will be redirected to the Paypal site where you can log in to make your payment.

If you do not have a Paypal account simply select the Paypal payment option and enter your credit / debit card information to complete your order via Paypals secure servers.

Alternatively you can select payment by cheque, but please be aware that this method will delay despatch of your order as we will not process this until payment has cleared in our account.
